"Placeholding" Art Exhibit Public Reception

Olin Art and Communications Center, Cyrus M. Running Gallery 4 PM
In the exhibition “Placeholding,” multimedia artist Jade Hoyer examines the changing landscape as a metaphor for belonging and place. What does it mean for plants, or humans, to belong to a place? Using media including printmaking, installation, and drawing, Hoyer interprets this landscape, its unique species, and its changing light over time and place. She explores a sense of place and the intricacies of where we attempt to fit in.
